Overview

The Char Dham Yatra holds immense spiritual significance and is considered a must-do pilgrimage for those seeking divine blessings. While the original Char Dhams in India include Badrinath, Dwaraka, Puri, and Rameswaram, the Char Dham of Uttarakhand, also known as Chota Char Dham, offers a deeply revered alternative, nestled in the heart of the Himalayas.

This sacred journey takes you through four iconic pilgrimage sites—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath—each with its own mythological and historical significance. Whether you are a devoted pilgrim or a traveler eager to explore the spiritual essence of India, this Char Dham Yatra Package is designed to provide a fulfilling experience.

The Four Sacred Shrines

  • Yamunotri – The seat of Goddess Yamuna, located in the Rawai Valley. As per legends, bathing in the Yamuna’s waters blesses devotees with protection from untimely death.
  • Gangotri – Dedicated to Goddess Ganga, this temple marks the origin of the holy River Ganga, situated along the Bhagirathi River in a breathtaking Himalayan setting.
  • Kedarnath – Home to one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, Kedarnath is a key part of the Panch Kedar and one of the holiest Hindu pilgrimage sites.
  • Badrinath – Nestled on the Alaknanda River, Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, where he is believed to have meditated under the protective shade of Goddess Lakshmi, who took the form of a Badri (berry) tree.
