Itinerary

Day 01Arrival in Cochin and Transfer to Munnar.

  • Arrive at Cochin Airport or Railway Station and meet your driver.
  • Travel to Munnar, a well-known hill station in Kerala.
  • Make a brief stop at the Cheeyyappara and Valara Waterfalls along the way.
  • Check into your hotel in Munnar and unwind for the night.

Day 02Explore Munnar.

  • Begin your day with breakfast and prepare for local sightseeing.
  • Visit Eravikulam National Park, known for its Nilgiri Tahr (note: the park is closed from January 21 to April 15).
  • After lunch, tour the Tea Museum to learn about the history and processing of tea.
  • Continue to Photo Point and drive through tea plantations to see Mattupetty Dam.
  • In the afternoon, visit Echo Point, Kundala Lake, and Blossoms Hydel Park if time allows, before returning to the hotel.

Day 03Munnar to Thekkady and Cultural Show.

  • After breakfast, head to Thekkady.
  • Enjoy a scenic 3–4-hour drive through the Western Ghats.
  • Upon arrival, check into your hotel and start exploring.
  • Visit Periyar Lake within Periyar National Park, a Tiger Reserve.
  • In the evening, experience a traditional dance performance at Kadathanadan Kalari Center.
  • Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 04Thekkady to Alleppey.

  • Post breakfast, travel to Alleppey.
  • Enjoy a 4–5-hour drive through Kerala’s Western Ghats to reach your destination.
  • Check into your hotel or houseboat in Alleppey.
  • Spend the evening relaxing on the backwaters and watch the sunset from a boat or Shikara.
  • Overnight stay in Alleppey.

Day 05Alleppey to Kovalam via Jatayu Earth Center.

  • After breakfast, transfer to Kovalam.
  • Experience a scenic 4–5-hour drive along the Western Ghats.
  • Visit Jatayu Earth Center to see the world’s largest bird sculpture, explore the Adventure Park, and enjoy a cable car ride.
  • Arrive in Kovalam, check into your hotel, and spend the evening at Kovalam Beach, watching the sunset.
  • Return to the hotel for the night.

Day 06Sightseeing in Trivandrum.

  • Have breakfast at the hotel and prepare for a day in Thiruvananthapuram.
  • Explore the city’s landmarks, including Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Trivandrum Zoo, Sree Chitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum (open from 1.00 PM to 4.45 PM, closed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and public holidays), and the Science and Technology Museum (closed on Mondays).
  • In the evening, visit Kovalam Lighthouse for panoramic ocean views and engage in water sports at the beach.
  • Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 07Departure from Kovalam.

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and prepare for departure.
  • Transfer to Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
  • Depart with fond memories of your trip.

Payment Policy

More than 40 days for the trip – 25% of the total trip cost

40 – 30 Days for the trip – 35% of the total trip cost

20 -15 days for the trip – 40% of the total trip cost

Cancellation policy

30 Days for the trip – We don’t charge you anything except your booking amount. Booking amount is non-refundable.

30 – 15 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 50% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.

15 – 07 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 75% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.

Less than 07 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 100% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.

  • You are not applicable for a refund if you fail to show up on the day of departure under the given timeline that has been provided to you beforehand.
  •  If a trip is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.) then the participants would be provided with a voucher for the same amount that can be used within 365 days of the issuance date for any package worth the same amount.
  • If a trip has to be aborted midway due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.), in that case, no refund would be provided. Travassa Holidays will not bear any extra expense due to such circumstances.
