Itinerary

Day 01Arrival in Leh | Rest & Acclimatization (11,600 ft)

  • Upon arrival in Leh, transfer to your hotel and settle in.
  • Receive a briefing on the itinerary and upcoming adventures.
  • Enjoy a delightful dinner and stay overnight in Leh.

Day 02Leh to Nubra Valley (10,000 ft | 160 KM | 5-6 hrs)

  • Start your day with a refreshing breakfast.
  • Embark on a scenic drive to Nubra Valley, a mesmerizing cold desert with stunning landscapes and towering mountains.
  • Cross the exhilarating Khardung La Pass, the world’s second-highest motorable pass.
  • Visit the enchanting Diskit Monastery, perched atop a hill, offering breathtaking panoramic views.
  • Experience the surreal beauty of the sand dunes in Hunder, where you can opt for a camel ride (additional cost)
  • Hand over your bike keys to the road captain.
  • Savour a delicious dinner and stay overnight in Nubra Valley.

Day 03Nubra Valley – Turtuk Village – Nubra Valley (9,850 ft | 196 KM | 8-9 hrs)

  • Kickstart your morning with a hearty breakfast.
  • Head towards Turtuk Village, once a part of Pakistan until 1971.
  • Located along the banks of the Shyok River, Turtuk is the last accessible village before the Line of Control (LOC).
  • Admire the stunning beauty of the valley, a sight unlike any other.
  • After an enriching experience in Turtuk, return to Nubra Valley.
  • Hand over your bike keys to the road captain and relax for the evening.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 04Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso (14,000 ft | 160 KM | 7-8 hrs)

  • Start the day with a wholesome breakfast.
  • Prepare for an exciting off-road adventure through rugged mountain terrain.
  • Journey towards the breathtaking Pangong Tso via the scenic Shyok River route or the challenging Wari La Pass, frequently used by the army.
  • Upon arrival, witness the mesmerizing blue expanse of Pangong Tso.
  • (*In case Pangong Tso is inaccessible, we will return to Leh and visit the lake the following day via SUV or tempo traveller.)
  • Absorb the serene beauty of the surroundings.
  • Hand over your bike keys to the road captain and settle in for the night.
  • Relish a delicious dinner and stay overnight near Pangong Tso.

Day 05Pangong Tso to Leh via Chang La (11,600 ft | 160 KM | 5-6 hrs)

  • Enjoy a fulfilling breakfast before setting off on your return journey to Leh.
  • Ride through the magnificent Chang La Pass, the third-highest motorable pass in the world.
  • Make a stop at the famous Druk White Lotus School, featured in the Bollywood movie 3 Idiots.
  • If time permits, visit the scenic Shey and Thiksey Monasteries.
  • Hand over your bike keys to the road captain and unwind for the night.
  • End the day with a delightful dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 06Departure from Leh

  • After breakfast, proceed to the airport for your flight home, marking the conclusion of your unforgettable journey.
  • Trip ends with cherished memories.

Transportation as per the itinerary in a Sedan/SUV (depending on group size).
5 nights of accommodation on a sharing basis.
Driver charges, permits, tolls, fuel, and parking fees.
Airport/Railway station pick-up and drop-off.

Exclusions
An outline of exclusions outside the package's scope:

5% GST will be charged extra.
Any food and beverages not included in the package, such as alcoholic drinks, mineral water, or meals on the highway.
Personal expenses like tips for drivers, entry fees for monuments, monasteries, camera/video camera charges, laundry, telephone bills, etc.
Costs incurred due to natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks, etc. (to be paid by the customer on-site).
Anything not mentioned in the inclusions.

FAQs

Payment Policy

  • More than 40 days for the trip – 25% of the total trip cost
  • 40 – 30 Days for the trip – 35% of the total trip cost
  • 20 -15 days for the trip – 40% of the total trip cost

Cancellation policy

  • 30 Days for the trip – We don’t charge you anything except your booking amount. Booking amount is non-refundable.
  • 30 – 15 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 50% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.
  • 15 – 07 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 75% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.
  • Less than 07 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 100% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • You are not applicable for a refund if you fail to show up on the day of departure under the given timeline that has been provided to you beforehand.
  •  If a trip is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.) then the participants would be provided with a voucher for the same amount that can be used within 365 days of the issuance date for any package worth the same amount.
  • If a trip has to be aborted midway due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.), in that case, no refund would be provided. Travassa Holidays will not bear any extra expense due to such circumstances.
