Itinerary

Day 01Arrival in Jodhpur. Explore the Old City and Market.

• Arrive in Jodhpur and meet our representative for your hotel transfer.
• Check-in to the hotel and get ready to explore the old city of Jodhpur.
• Visit Sardar Market (Clock Tower Market) for shopping and experiencing the vibrant atmosphere.
• Explore Toorji ka Jhalra, an intricately designed stepwell with historical charm.
• Evening at leisure to explore the city on your own.
• Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 02Local Sightseeing in Jodhpur. Visit the Forts and Palaces.

• After breakfast, visit Mehrangarh Fort, perched on a hilltop with panoramic city views.
• Explore the painted corridors and royal halls while learning about Rajput history.
• Visit Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph with exquisite carvings.
• Explore Umaid Bhavan Palace, home of the royal family, and visit its museum showcasing royal memorabilia.
• The rest of the day is at leisure for you to explore further or relax.
• Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 03Jodhpur to Jaisalmer. Visit Gadisar Lake.

• Enjoy breakfast and depart for Jaisalmer (5-6 hours drive).
• Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel.
• Visit Gadisar Lake for a beautiful sunset experience.
• Spend time around the lake, then return to the hotel.
• Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 04Sightseeing in Jaisalmer. Visit Sonar Qilla.

• After breakfast, visit Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Qilla), known for its yellow sandstone walls and historical significance.
• Explore the Jain temples within the fort, known for their delicate carvings.
• Visit Patwon ki Haveli, a mansion with intricate paintings, mirror work, and grand arches offering stunning views.
• Rest of the day at leisure for shopping or further exploration.
• Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 05Jaisalmer to Bikaner. Camel Safari in the Desert.

• After breakfast, head to Bikaner (5-6 hours drive), passing towns like Pokhran and Gajner.
• Arrive in Bikaner and embark on a Camel Safari through the Thar Desert.
• End the safari at a desert campsite and enjoy a sunset over the sand dunes.
• Dinner under the stars at the desert campsite.
• Overnight stay at the campsite in Bikaner.

Day 06Sightseeing in Bikaner. Visit the Rat Temple.

• After breakfast, check-in to your hotel in Bikaner.
• Visit Junagarh Fort, an impressive blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture.
• Explore the intricate frescos, mirror work, and carvings within the fort.
• Visit the Karni Mata Temple (Rat Temple), home to thousands of sacred rats.
• Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Bikaner.

Day 07Departure. Bikaner to Jaipur.

• After breakfast, depart for Jaipur (6-7 hours drive).
• Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at Jaipur airport/railway station for your onward journey.
• End of the tour.

Inclusions

6 nights of accommodation on a sharing basis.
6 meals (Breakfast from Day 2 to Day 7).

Exclusions
An outline of exclusions outside the package's scope:

5% GST will be charged extra.
Any food and beverages not included in the package, such as alcoholic drinks, mineral water, or meals on the highway.
Personal expenses like tips for drivers, entry fees for monuments, monasteries, camera/video camera charges, laundry, telephone bills, etc.
Costs incurred due to natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks, etc. (to be paid by the customer on-site).
Anything not mentioned in the inclusions.

FAQs

Payment Policy

  • More than 40 days for the trip – 25% of the total trip cost
  • 40 – 30 Days for the trip – 35% of the total trip cost
  • 20 -15 days for the trip – 40% of the total trip cost

Cancellation policy

  • 30 Days for the trip – We don’t charge you anything except your booking amount. Booking amount is non-refundable.
  • 30 – 15 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 50% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.
  • 15 – 07 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 75% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.
  • Less than 07 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 100% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • You are not applicable for a refund if you fail to show up on the day of departure under the given timeline that has been provided to you beforehand.
  •  If a trip is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.) then the participants would be provided with a voucher for the same amount that can be used within 365 days of the issuance date for any package worth the same amount.
  • If a trip has to be aborted midway due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.), in that case, no refund would be provided. Travassa Holidays will not bear any extra expense due to such circumstances.
