Itinerary

Day 01Arrival in Guwahati. Drive to Kaziranga.

  • Arrive at Lok Priya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport by 11 AM.
  • Travel to Kaziranga and arrive by evening.
  • Check into your accommodation in Kaziranga for an overnight stay.

Day 02Jungle Safari. Transfer to Shillong.

  • Start your day early and enjoy an exciting jungle safari.
  • Have breakfast and then set out for Shillong.
  • Arrive in Shillong by evening and check into your hotel for the night.

Day 03Laitlum Canyon. Drive to Shnongpdeng.

  • Enjoy breakfast before checking out.
  • Depart for Laitlum Canyons and marvel at the stunning landscape.
  • Continue your journey to Shnongpdeng, stopping en route to visit the scenic Phe-Phe Falls.
  • Arrive at Shnongpdeng, where you can admire the clear waters of the Umngot River.
  • Check into your camp, relax, and enjoy a bonfire and dinner before an overnight stay.

Day 04Mawlynnong. Drive to Cherrapunjee.

  • Have breakfast with views of the river’s clear waters.
  • Engage in various water activities.
  • After lunch, head to Mawlynnong, known as Asia’s cleanest village.
  • Proceed to Cherrapunjee and check into your hotel by evening.
  • Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

Day 05Single Root & Double Decker Bridge.

  • After breakfast, travel to Tyrna Village.
  • Begin trek to the Single Root Bridge, then proceed to the impressive Double Decker Bridge.
  • Trek back to Tyrna Village (approximately 3,300 steps one way, totalling 6,600 steps round trip) and return to Cherrapunjee.
  • Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

Day 06Cherrapunjee Local Tour. Transfer to Shillong.

  • Enjoy breakfast with a view.
  • Check out and visit Nohkalikai Falls and the beautiful Lyngksiar Waterfalls.
  • Explore Mawsmai Caves.
  • After lunch, travel back to Shillong and visit Police Bazaar.
  • Check into your Shillong hotel for the night.

Day 07Return to Guwahati and Departure.

  • After breakfast, head to Guwahati Airport.
  • En route, stop at Umiam Lake for a scenic view.
  • Arrive at Guwahati Airport in the evening; book your flight for after 5 PM.
  • Depart with cherished memories of your trip.

Payment Policy

More than 40 days for the trip – 25% of the total trip cost

40 – 30 Days for the trip – 35% of the total trip cost

20 -15 days for the trip – 40% of the total trip cost

Cancellation policy

30 Days for the trip – We don’t charge you anything except your booking amount. Booking amount is non-refundable.

30 – 15 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 50% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.

15 – 07 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 75% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.

Less than 07 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 100% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.

  • You are not applicable for a refund if you fail to show up on the day of departure under the given timeline that has been provided to you beforehand.
  •  If a trip is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.) then the participants would be provided with a voucher for the same amount that can be used within 365 days of the issuance date for any package worth the same amount.
  • If a trip has to be aborted midway due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.), in that case, no refund would be provided. Travassa Holidays will not bear any extra expense due to such circumstances.
